"Come out of the woodwork" nghĩa là gì?

"Come out of the woodwork (nghề mộc)" = Đến/xuất hiện một cách bất thình lình, đến từ nơi không ai ngờ tới; thường là ai đó xuất hiện một cách bất ngờ và nói ý kiến của mình về việc gì hoặc để tận dụng tình huống nào đó.

These people seem to have come out of the woodwork. I have looked at the past content history of many of them and there was low engagement in recent times. This change is a positive sign of the power of LinkedIn and the opportunity it promises. Inactive members (thành viên không hoạt động) are now robustly adding to the platform to influence and raise conversations.

One of Kissinger's insecurities as an adult was his feeling, sometimes half-confessed through  mordant  humor (nửa đùa nửa thật thú nhận), that he would not fit in if he was too closely identified with his religion. Only partly in jest, he grumbled (lầm bầm) that too much reporting about his family background could "bring every anti-Semite (bài do thái) out of the woodwork" to attack him.
