"You can't go home again" = Bạn không thể về nhà nữa -> Thực sự thì bạn không thể quay lại nơi bạn đã từng sống vì mọi thứ đã thay đổi quá nhiều từ khi bạn rời đi và nó không giống như nơi mà bạn đã từng sống nữa (hơi giống với nghĩa không thể quay lại quá khứ).

Ví dụ
They say you can't go home again, but feisty (hăng hái, hăm hở) Nora Helmer gives it a shot in Lucas Hnath's clever update of Henrik Ibsen's 1879 proto-feminist (chủ nghĩa nữ quyền nguyên thủy, đầu tiên) drama, "A Doll's House."

Christopher (Chris) Bairos doesn’t put too much stock into the saying, “you can’t go home again,” after recently returning to the first restaurant that helped jump-start his culinary (bếp núc, nấu nướng) career.

They sometimes say you can't go home again. William Adams will be one of the first people to tell you that is not true. Almost 70 years ago, his family moved into a house along 23rd Street in Tuscaloosa when he was five years old. After living in cities like Miami, Atlanta and Birmingham after that, he always considered that house on 23rd Street home.
