"At half-mast" nghĩa là gì?

"At half-mast" hoặc "at half-staff" có từ "mast" là cột cờ hoặc cột buồm trên thuyền. Cụm từ được sử dụng khi lá cờ được hạ xuống lưng chừng cột nhằm vinh danh, tưởng nhớ người chết hoặc thể hiện sự tiếc thương với sự kiện đau buồn, thảm họa...
