"Cut each other's throats" = Cắt cổ họng/bóp cổ/chặn họng nhau -> Hai hoặc nhiều nhóm người cãi vã, tranh chấp hoặc dẫn đến xung đột rất kịch liệt và hung hãn với nhau.

Ví dụ

“We’re still top of the league and other teams in the division were probably hoping we’d cut each other’s throats and let them close the gap but there were two quality teams out there today.”

In the meanwhile Loeffler and Collins are learning new ways to cut each other’s throats. The long knives are out. Loeffler is a transplant from Illinois, married into money and also ran a successful business. She and Collins both play up their roots, which include being poor and working the soil. But more importantly, at least in their minds, is the daily sycophancy (thói nịnh hót, thói bợ đỡ) and homage (sự tôn kính, tôn trọng) they pay to Trump.
