"Cut my wisdom teeth" nghĩa là gì?

"Cut/take (one's) wisdom teeth" = Nhổ răng khôn -> Đạt độ tuổi trưởng thành/đã trưởng thành.
Ví dụ
"I take my wisdom teeth out if indicated as early as 11 or 12 years old, and I'd say the oldest was 95. The tooth was infected."
"I was cleaning instruments for my father and we had somebody who was late for their appointment and he said, 'Jump in the chair, we'll take your wisdom teeth out.' And so I had my wisdom teeth out, and then I went right back to work."
Even health care has undergone trends. I recall a few years ago when numerous high school students had to have their wisdom teeth cut out. That became a trend among the younger generation and I have yet to determine whether it was actually a necessity or just another whim that teens had to follow. Regardless, it was the thing to do for teens - who followed it up by posting videos on Facebook or Instagram of their actions and conversations while still under the influence of the anesthesia (sự gây vô cảm, gây mê).
