"Hang up (one's) fiddle" = Treo cái chốt chặn -> Ngừng làm việc/kinh doanh, về hưu.

Ví dụ
After working their separate jobs for decades, some couples can't wait to hang up their fiddle and finally spend time together doing the things they love.

For many years, the early 60s has been the default (mặc định) age range for retirement. This is an ideal time to hang up their fiddle, but many others would prefer to retire earlier. However, fears about lower social security, unexpected expenses or outliving their retirement savings can keep them from seriously considering it.

Your 20s may not seem like a time to focus on retirement. At that point, you're probably busy paying down student loans, chipping away at credit card balances, and attempting to sock away funds so you can eventually stop renting a place to live and actually buy one of your own. But if one of your goals is to hang up your fiddle early, then you'll need to start working toward it from as young an age as possible. With that in mind, here are a few things you can do during your 20s to help ensure that you're able to eventually leave the workforce when you want to.
