"Egg in your beer" nghĩa là gì?

"Egg in (one's) beer" = trứng trong bia -> nghĩa là quà tặng, ưu đãi, phần thưởng không cần thiết hoặc thừa thãi.

Ví dụ
Fear flooded his body as he tried to breathe and relax. Calm down, don't be an old fart about it. Tell it to the chaplain (giáo sĩ). Whaddy want, egg in your beer?

"What's wrong with that?" Alex responded.
"It's kid stuff, money," the younger Gipp replied.
"What do you want? Egg in your beer?” retorted (vặn lại) an increasingly perturbed (rối tung) Alex Gipp.

Conversations and discussions were equally highly spirited (hung hăng), and I foolishly (dại dột) made a remark (bình luận) about something that I didn't like about this country, to which Aunt Astrid ojected (phản chối) and vehemently (kịch liệt) disagreed and responded, "Well! What do you want? Egg in your beer?” I'm never one to pass up an opportunity to have some fun, so I said, “Well! Since I'm a guest in this house, I wasn't going to mention it, but since you brought it up, are you always serving the beer just plain with no eggs?"
