China doesn’t always get a good press out of its treatment of bears. At least these days there are many cute paintings of pandas. These don’t seem to have happened in the past, when for thousands of years it was the more standard brown bear that featured in many media, especially jade (ngọc bích).

"I don't tend to read the papers. I might see the odd thing now and again but you try not to let it affect you. Even the top players can get bad press. These things tend to come in flurries (xôn xao, náo động, bối rối): you do something right, you get a good press. It's kind of similar with the fans: everyone is your best mate if you're playing well. When you're not it's the opposite.

“If you look at the swine flu, all of that, I guess, was in 2009. And what they did and the mistakes they made, they were terrible, they were horrible mistakes. 17,000 people are dead, and I’m going to be honest, they shouldn’t be criticizing because we’ve done a fantastic job, “said Trump. “The only thing we haven’t done well is get a good press. We did a fantastic job and it was not appreciated. “
