"Get (one's) clock cleaned" = đồng hồ đã được lâu chùi -> nghĩa là bị đánh bại/thua cuộc hoàn toàn.

He fought three bouts, winning all, but gave up after realizing "as soon as I met a guy in better shape than me, I'd get my clock cleaned.".

Being fitter and healthier is one thing, but translating these improvements into results is another matter. It’s hard enough to do this in the U.S., but racing in Belgium is brutal, with women scrapping for every position. I’m expecting to get my clock cleaned but to learn from it and become a better racer.

As much as I consider myself a competent individual when it comes to self-defense (tự phòng vệ), I'm going to have to admit I'd get my clock cleaned by nearly every relevant female mixed martial artist there is. While that's somewhat terrifying, it's more of a respect for what they do. The fact that fighters like Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano, Sara Kaufman and Miesha Tate don't receive the same respect for fighting that men do is sickening. Guys, ladies can throw down. Not to mention they aren't too bad to look at.
