"Get no change out of (someone)" = Không nhận được tiền thối-> Không nhận được sự trợ giúp từ ai; không thể có được thông tin/sự phản ứng như mong muốn (không móc được của ai cái gì); Không địch lại được ai (trong cuộc tranh luận); không cạnh tranh nổi ai (trong việc buôn bán).

Ví dụ
Eliasson - who had managed to get no change out of boyhood City fan Scott Golbourne - had swapped wings with Palmer and found himself up against Donald Love, whose work was cut out dealing with the tricky customer.

You might think I’m being harsh on the young Belgian. However, we can surely all agree that he’s a frustrating player for sure. Frustrating in the sense that he’s briefly demonstrated attributes that can decimate (tiêu hao nhiều, làm mất đi một phần mười) top European defenders. It’s hard to get your head around how a player who can lead Mats Hummels on a merry dance can later get no change out of a League Two defence such as Plymouth Argyle’s – twice, and in fact look to be at about their level.

I ask whether he still considers himself, deep down, an Arsenal fan? "No, you drop that as soon as you turn pro. They're just another team. Although the away grounds I enjoy playing at most are the Emirates and Old Trafford." It is the latter where he normally faces the bigger challenge. "Wes Brown is the defender who gives me most trouble," he concedes. "I played against him twice in the league and the Carling Cup as well last season, and I didn't get no change out of him. His reading of the game is excellent and he likes to get forward as well, so I have to track back unless I can pass him over to the left back, and as a winger you don't want to be going that way."
