Choose to stand in courage and not in fear. Use social media for good. Get off it if you can't. Focus on the practical, the uplifting or the downright funny stuff. Keep in touch with friends and family. And I, for one, will definitely need to lower expectations around Bob the Builder getting "all those jobs done". Our "jobs needing doing" lists don't actually align. We'll argue, we'll laugh, we'll yell, and we will cry – and that'll be okay. Just keep this is mind: our kids may not remember what we say or do during this time, but they'll remember how we made them feel.
