"Have one's name on it" = có tên trên đó -> nghĩa là dành riêng, được định sẵn cho ai; hoàn toàn hợp với sở thích hoặc thị hiếu của ai đó.

Ví dụ
Tyon knows every scouting (hướng đạo) report is going to have his name on it and all eyes on him, so when he drives and kicks the ball, it makes the defense scramble back. We’ve got guys all over the court that can make you pay for not covering them.

It is his aloneness that singles him out. He tends to get killed, and his comrades (đồng chí) with him. Worse, he sometimes survives while his comrades do not. Of course, this may be only luck — the bullet or shell just did not have his name on it that day — but you can easily sympathize (đồng cảm) with the suspicions of the ordinary soldier.

Not so many years ago this was an era that looked to have his name on it, following greats like Schumacher, Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. Instead he has been cast (quăng) into the shadows by Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
