"Turnabout is fair play" nghĩa là gì?

"Turnabout is fair play" = Xoay ngược lại thì mới công bằng -> Ai cũng có cơ hội để làm điều gì; thật đáng cho ai chịu lại tai họa/đau khổ khi họ đã gây đau khổ cho người khác (gieo nhân nào gặp quả nấy).

Ví dụ
After losing to the Rochester Falcons the last time they met, the Avondale Yellowjackets decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Avondale beat Rochester 48-40 on Friday. That was the first win for the Yellowjackets since their win over Rochester when the two teams previously met in February of last year.

After Adam Stoler first started attacking me some time ago, I started keeping a file of his letters. Up to this point, I have ignored him. But enough is enough, and so turnabout is fair play. I’ll just add the following to what Mr. Warren had to say about Mr. Stoler: Mr. Stoler inanely contradicts himself from one letter to another, and even within the same letter.

Jumping right into the action with Murtagh and his Regulators (sounds like an 80s band), we can’t help but wince (nhăn mặt, cau mày) — alongside Jamie when he surveys the damage — as North Carolina officials are brutally tarred and feathered. Though Murtagh answers their cries for mercy with a turnabout-is-fair-play mentality, it’s difficult to feel aligned with such violence …no matter how good he looks in a bonnet (mũ bê-rê).
