"As a service" nghĩa là gì?

"(Something) as a service" = cung cấp dịch vụ -> các sản phẩm được triển khai dưới dạng dịch vụ và khách hàng được lựa chọn theo nhu cầu ( tùy biến cao; trả phí theo nhu cầu sử dụng; không phải vận hành, bảo trì, nghiên cứu và phát triển). Nó được thiết kế để đáp ứng sự tùy biến cao theo nhiều nhu cầu của khách hàng. Ví dụ "software as a service" là phầm mềm dạng dịch vụ.

Platform (nền tảng) as a service is the term given to the collection (sưu tập) of services and solutions (giải pháp) that make use of cloud computing (điện toán đám mây) services in order to create a platform for clients (khách hàng) and users (người dùng) to manage, run, and develop relevant applications (ứng dụng liên quan) while forgoing (bỏ) the extremely complicated (phức tạp) task of creating and maintaining (duy trì) the required infrastructure (cơ sở hạ tầng).
IT organizations (tổ chức) are already familiar with as-a-service offerings, such as software (phần mềm) as a service and infrastructure as a service. The common theme with these offerings is the way in which the technology (công nghệ) is acquired (dành được). The customer doesn't own the technology used to deliver these services but instead is charged for their use. In the case of storage (lưu trữ) as a service (SaaS), this typically means a charge per gigabyte or terabyte per month, based on a tier of performance (trình diễn).
