"Cleanliness is next to godliness" nghĩa là nhà sạch thì mát, bát sạch ngon cơm.

Cleanliness has always been next to godliness, but it’s even more critical during a pandemic (đại dịch). That's why Tom Williams Sr., the owner of Allentown's Cityline Construction, joined the fight against COVID-19 with a germ-killing (diệt vi trùng) approach (tiếp cận).

The People’s Republic of China (PRC) manufactures (sản xuất) most of the medical drugs used in our country. If the PRC were to disrupt (phá vỡ) the drugs to hold back Human Immunodeficiency (HIV)/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) many new millions in our country would be killed without any mercy. Cleanliness is next to godliness.

When the flu was at its worst, Grandma went door-to-door in her neighborhood, treating (chữa trị) the sick and preparing the dead for burial (mai táng). She escaped the flu herself and, as I recall, she seemed immune (miễn nhiễm) to all communicable disease (bệnh truyền nhiễm). She believed the saying “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” came straight from the Psalms (thánh thi) or the Sermon (bài thuyết giáo) on the Mount.
