"Have the final say/word" = lời nhắn nhủ cuối cùng -> nghĩa là thay cho lời kết thúc (thuyết trình, tranh luận...)/quyết định, tuyên bố, chỉ thị cuối cùng (từ người có thẩm quyền).

Ví dụ
“We need to be encouraged (khích lệ)… we need to have hope,” says Rev. Pace. “We need to inspire (truyền cảm hứng) and give that hope to all, because this plague (bệnh dịch), this virus, does not have the final word: the final word is from God … that word is love.”

As governors (thống đốc) on the East and West Coasts build coalitions (liên minh) to coordinate easing (nới lỏng) stay-at-home orders, President Donald Trump said he has the final say on reopening, not the states. However, legal experts (chuyên gia pháp lý) say otherwise, pointing out that U.S. law gives state governors wide latitude (quyền hành động rộng rãi) on health and safety.

On a United podcast, when Pogba was quizzed (hỏi) on the criticism (chỉ trích) from Souness, he responded: "I didn’t know who he was really, I heard he was a great player and stuff like that." And wanting to have the final say on the matter, Souness hit back again on Sky Sports today, saying: "I'm happy with it. The oldest thing in football comes to mind - put your medals (huy chương) on the table."
