"He that cannot obey cannot command" nghĩa là gì?

"He that cannot obey, cannot command" = nếu anh ta không thể nghe lời, thì anh ta không thể ra lệnh -> nếu muốn ra lệnh cho người khác, trước tiên hãy học cách tuân lệnh.

Ví dụ
John Watson's granddad – in Her Majesty's service from the age of sixteen– had a saying: He who cannot obey cannot command. Interestingly, this truism (chân lý hiển nhiên) is...true. So it follows that a man disinclined (không thích) to obedience (tuân lệnh) doesn't enter the military.

In Poor Richard's Almanac Benjamin Franklin wrote, “He that cannot obey, cannot command.” This quote teaches me that you must follow before you may lead. While following, people are often given the opportunity (cơ hội) to learn from someone more experience (kinh nghiệm) than themselves.

An ola adage (châm ngôn) goes like this: He who cannot obey cannot command. If you don't learn to obey, others are not going to obey you. Obedience speaks of love, respect, honor and admiration (ngưỡng mộ). The degree to which you respect (tôn trọng) your parents will be the degree to which you obey them.
