"Get the lead out of (one's) pants" có từ lead là cục chì, gần giống trong nghĩa 'chân đeo chì' vậy -> thành ngữ này nghĩa là làm việc với nhịp độ rất nhanh.

The film certainly doesn’t lionize (tiếp đón như danh nhân) Jewell, played to perfection by Hauser ("I, Tonya") as a wannabe cop with several strikes against him. Among them are obesity (béo phì), social awkwardness and a tendency to bully once he gets a badge. He's the kind of guy who likes to yell "Get the lead out of your pants!" — which is exactly what he does when he finds a nai -bomb under a bench at Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park, alerts authorities and surely saves countless lives.

“I was an OK athlete,” said the humble Whiteside, 90, a letterman on Notre Dame’s 1949 undefeated national championship football team.On this particular day, however, Bill wasn’t having much success on the basketball court. “I heard this shrill voice coming from the stands,” he remembered. “Hey, Whiteside!” someone screamed. “Get the lead out of your (pants)!” “I turned and looked up to the bleachers (chỗ ngồi ở khán đài không có mái che (ở sân vận động)), and there was the Hollywood actress and future princess, laughing hysterically,” he continued.
