“Get wind of (something)” = nghe phong phanh -> nghĩa là nghe hoặc tự nhiên biết điều gì (đặc biệt điều bí mật) theo cách gián tiếp hoặc qua lời đồn.

Ví dụ
That’s not certain, though – and if we do get wind of any more concrete (cụ thể), news we’ll let you know straight away.

While you may not be able to completely prevent this kind of behavior, you can make it known that you expect better from your team. Prior to meetings, remind people that they should be sharing their views with the full group and not carrying on side conversations that exclude others. And if you get wind of problematic comments and conversations, make it clear that these exchanges are unacceptable and merit serious consequences (hậu quả nghiêm trọng).

When they get wind of a potential conflict, they try to intervene (xen vào, can thiệp) as quickly and respectfully as possible. A “neighbourhood change associate” – a credible messenger who usually has a past experience of violence and background in the community – will be dispatched to navigate (vận hành, đi qua) the terrain (địa hình) between the two sides. They’ll talk with friends and family, and try to get to the antagonists (người phản đối, đối lập) and talk them down before the worst happens. Once they get to know the people involved, and win their trust, they try to connect them with services like cognitive (thuộc về nhận biết, nhận thức) behavioural therapy (liệu pháp).
