"The biter gets bit" nghĩa là gì?

"The biter gets bit/the biter bit" = người cắn lại bị cắn -> nghĩa là người làm việc xấu thì sẽ chịu đau khổ và tai họa tương tự với hành động mình đã gây ra; 'bợm già mắc bẫy cò ke'.

They are part of cricket’s currents, not to be averted (ngăn chặn, tránh) by piety (lòng hiếu thảo, mộ đạo), penance (sự ăn năn, hối lỗi) or self-abasement (sự tự hạ mình), and will resolve as these things usually do, through the swirl of skill, conditions, and chance.
