"A prophet is not without honor save in his own country" = nhà tiên tri không phải không được trọng vọng ngoại trừ quê nhà của ông ta -> nghĩa là người có tài thường không được người thân/gần gũi công nhận.

Ví dụ
“A biblical quote states, a prophet is not without honor save in his own country, meaning it is rare (hiếm khi) to be recognized among your own,” said Judge Cox in his acceptance (chấp nhận) speech, at the grand ceremony that was graced by the presence of US Consul General Howie Prince, who is based at the Consulate General in New York.

As the saying goes, a prophet is not without honor save in his own country initially (ban đầu) this artist’s work was not well received among the petty bourgeois (tư sản) of Paris and the art community in general where his first exhibition has to be held in the “Salon des Refusés” — French for “exhibition of the rejects”. His radical (từ gốc) artistic endeavor (nỗ lực) was taken as “dishonoring art” at his time.

On a different but still Davos note, I would like to congratulate the central character in my documentary film State of Mind, Professor Dixon Chibanda for being invited in his own capacity to the World Economic Forum to address world leaders on Mental Health and mental health disorders (rối loạn) and providing solutions to the world economic, political and social leaders. A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country and among his own people, which we shall substitute for government.
