"Stick to your knitting" nghĩa là gì?

"Stick to one's knitting" = cứ tiếp tục đan len đi -> nghĩa là tiếp tục làm những việc mà bản thân đã có kinh nghiệm và có sở trường.
Ví dụ
Over a span (khoảng thời gian) of seven decades, external forces change all around you, however, if you stick to your knitting and focus on what is important in what you do day in and day out and deliver a product that delights (làm cho thích thú) the needs of your customers, the external forces become background noise and the essence of what you do and how you do it takes center stage and becomes the mission.
We could say that the lesson learned is an easy one: Don’t let your company get involved in politics. Stick to your knitting, and let others do the hand-wringing. In an increasingly polarized (phân cực) world, stay neutral. Be Switzerland!
Above all, whether you are a technical or fundamental (cơ bản) analyst, always be consistent (kiên định) in approach and "stick to your knitting"!
