"All the difference in the world" nghĩa là nói về mức độ khác biệt lớn.

Ví dụ
Bryan had room for me in his life, and that made all the difference in the world to me. As long as I've known him, he's lived in a way that provides room for him to make a difference in others' lives.

Shakespeare the author never appears in Hamlet as a character to “make a difference.” But at the same time, though in a different sense, Shakespeare the author makes all the difference in the world, since without him, the world of Hamlet would not exist.

We are unable to estimate how plausible (đáng tin cậy) their predictions are, but we can understand that the imminent (sắp xảy ra) end of the world is a real possibility whose probability is yet unknown. Hence some human actions make all the difference in the world.

Some people would insist that it still matters how to die, alone and together, and that the difference between the present of those still living and the future of total destruction makes all the difference in the world, the very difference created by the existence of the world, even if this is a difference that would last for a few months only.
