"What can't be cured must be endured" = không chữa được thì phải chịu -> nghĩa là chúng ta phải học cách sống chung với lũ, chấp nhận với những điều không thể thay đổi được.

Ví dụ
There's no summer without winter. What can't be cured must be endured. We must work in the heat or starve (chết đói) in the cold. Nobody is born smart. Do your best and leave the rest.

Well, as Pa says, “What can't be cured must be endured,” and when my cold is better I'll come over to the Dovecote to see what we can do with the clothes you already have for the season.

It's no part of the business of the superior classes to interfere with the laws of supply and demand (cung cầu); poor people must be miserable (chịu khổ). What can't be cured must be endured.

Mr Willet takes it all very philosophically (triết lý) and quotes irritatingly (khó chịu) 'that what can't be cured must be endured'. The wind had been in the north-east, and I was in a more militant mood. If I have complained once about the skylight, during my term of office, I must have complained twenty times.
