"You can say that again" nghĩa là gì?

"You can say that again" = đúng vậy -> cụm từ này nghĩa là hoàn toàn đồng ý.

I had lunch recently at a small café and commented that some people were making a fortune out of the situation. His response was “You can say that again. I used to pay £10 for a 100 disposable (dùng một lần) gloves for kitchen staff. I now have to pay £69.” He also agreed with me that soap and water was as good as, if not better, than this so-called sanitiser they have to use on tables and chairs.
“You can say that again – on many levels,” Olson confirmed. “There are other things that we do to tap into to help existing businesses or potential new ones to bring them to the Dodge County region. We tap into a lot with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and other agencies that have a lot more to offer than the county does. We provide the bridge and help businesses understand what kind of incentives are out there. We help them get in touch with the right folks to make their visions reality.”
I’m getting more practice since my hearing is starting to go. I just nod like a fool and agree with whatever someone says. Like if someone were to say, “You sure look stupid.” “Yep, yep – you can say that again,” I reply – all the while grinning like a crazed baboon (khỉ đầu chó) when I don’t have a clue. Of course, I’m not stupid, just a bit hard of hearing, slow on the uptake or not paying much attention to what folks are saying due to a complete lack of interest. I know that’s a recipe for living in a bubble of ignorance, but it works for me.
