"Act like you've been there before" = làm như trước đây bạn đã tới đó -> nghĩa là đừng hả hê/khoe khoang khi bạn thành công, đặc biệt trong thể thao. Cụm từ này liên quan đến huấn luyện viên bóng đá nổi tiếng của Mỹ tên Vince Lombardi.

Ví dụ
As my high school soccer coach once told me, “When you score a goal, act like you’ve been there before.” Of course, I hadn’t been there before; in fact, after I scored my first goal, I’d never go there again. I could have learned a lot from Winston Churchill: “In war: resolution; In defeat: defiance (sự thách thức, bất chấp); In victory: magnanimity (tính hào hiệp, cao thượng); In peace: goodwill.”

After Notre Dame's 47-40 double-overtime win over top-ranked Clemson last Saturday, the Irish jumped to a No. 2 ranking in the Associated Press Top 25 poll but entered a potential trap game Saturday at Boston College. Leinart, a former USC quarterback from 2003-05, questioned the Notre Dame focus after an emotional victory against the Tigers. "You know the phrase, 'Act like you've been there before,' the only problem is that Notre Dame has never been there before," Leinart said. "We'll see how they react."

Colin Cowherd: “There's an old saying of ‘Act Like You’ve Been There Before.’ The Philadelphia Eagles are imploding, and yesterday Carson Wentz had to answer questions because reportedly the practices are lousy, people are screwing off, and it manifests (tuyên ngôn) itself on bad Sunday games. Wentz had to address stories that the Eagles’ practices are a clown (chú hề) show. Do quarterbacks’ run practices?? The coaches do. Who hired them? It wasn’t Carson Wentz. This is a coach issue… Philadelphia won a Super Bowl and they partied for a year.
