"Fetch and carry for" nghĩa là gì?

"Fetch and carry for" -> nghĩa là làm việc vặt, chân tay cho người khác.

Ví dụ
Hastings’ role, from the first episode of Poirot 25 years ago, was to fetch and carry for the Great Detective (thám tử vĩ  đại), look puzzled (tỏ vẻ bối rối), ask the obvious questions and then applaud in delight.

Unless the human race ensures that those who are dependent, are always far less in number than those providing the support, societies will collapse (sụp đổ) and the remaining fit/able bodied and healthy people will move somewhere else to avoid being expected to fetch and carry for hoards of people and not get to enjoy their own lives.

At the age of three he was kidnapped from his village by soldiers, and even after the war ended in 2003 he was effectively enslaved (bắt làm nô lệ). "I looked after the man who had been the boss-man of the soldiers; I had to fetch and carry for him," he explains. "I was just a small kid – I had no chance on my own." He finally escaped when he was 13, and settled in Lowah; he works on a farm to support himself.
