Indonesian authorities destroyed (phá huỷ) hundreds of sex toys (đồ chơi tình dục) on Friday as demand for the prohibited (bị cấm) devices has spiked during the coronavirus pandemic.

Sex toys are illegal (bất hợp pháp) in the conservative (khuynh hướng bảo thủ) country. Officials say they corrupt (làm đồi bại) public morals (đức hạnh, phẩm hạnh) and routinely (thường lệ, đều đặn) intercept (chặn đứng) shipments, torching (đốt, phóng hoả) them as though they were illicit drugs.

In their most recent bust (ập vào bắt giữ), a total of 442 sex toys were destroyed in Bandung, the capital of the Indonesian province of West Java.
