ASHLEE Terry's family couldn't believe she decided to pick the runt of a royally bred litter by El Grand Senor from Group 1 winner Maja Mahi Mahi.

I’ve had three dogs come into and then out of my life. Before Brandy there was Sabrina, a Shetland sheepdog her breeders (người chăn nuôi) did not want because she was the runt of the litter. I realized those three lights were my three guardian angels — my Sabrina, my Brandy, my Guinness.

The litter (lứa đẻ) included two yellow Labs, originally named Graham and Cooper, and 11 black Labs, originally named Luna, Bella, Willow, Ellie, Brock, Theo, Benjamin, Winston, Astro, Bear and Harry. Nine males, four females. Benjamin, now called Parker, the last-born and runt of the litter, went to Barbara Lattoz and her daughter Natalie in Mahwah.
