"To go to pot" = vào nồi -> nghĩa là làm gì cũng hỏng bét.

Ví dụ 

I've gone to pot, I'm not happy but still have to accept it.

They may be infatuated (say mê) with women with a high level of confidence. But you need to understand that fake confidence can go to pot.

Every day hearing the saying 'you go to pot' will make the child stop trying to succeed. The child may even consider himself the source of all the problems his parents face. Thoughts of being not good enough and not worthy of love can rekindle in a child's mind.
