Eastcott Veterinary Referrals in Wiltshire reports that it has successfully treated the first reported case of a dog with complete, unilateral (đơn phương) urinary tract (ống niệu) duplication (lặp lại, nhân đôi).

...The dog was a seven-month-old Jack Russell Terrier which had been referred suffering from urinary incontinence (sự không giữ được, sự không cầm được (ỉa đùn, đái dầm...); dục vọng không thể kiềm chế được; sự hoang dâm vô độ)  and preputial (bao quy đầu) pruritus (bệnh ngứa). 

...“The dog concerned was born with a duplex or 'double’ left kidney (thận). Each section of the left kidney drained urine via separate ureters (niệu quản, ống niệu) into the prostate gland (tuyến tiền liệt). 

“Its urinary bladder (bàng quang) was also divided into separate left and right compartments, each of which then drained through separate urethras that coursed through separate penises (dương vật).
