“I didn’t have one so all I could find in the junk trunk was this. “So I filled it with soap, screwed it in and bob’s your uncle & fanny’s your aunt. “You’ve got an in-built soap dispenser (bình xà phòng) in your sink! Why does this make me so happy?”

Of course, people being people, once they’ve got an expression to get their teeth into, they can’t even leave it there. Soon they started saying “Robert’s your mother’s brother” and “…and Fanny’s your aunt” as if the lid had been torn off a chest full of nonsensical (vô lý) pleasantries. The latter being a curious echo of another expression “my Aunt Fanny!” a statement of pure disbelief which works in much the same witheringly sarcastic way as “I DON’T think!” or “as if!”

“Our interest was piqued by each other, but at that point it was like, we're about to work together for a long time, hopefully, you know, if the show gets picked up. So, there were no feelings at that point,” Moyer told Men's Health. “We were in the same hotel. We were having dinner every night. I got back to London and Anna got back to New York and I just missed speaking to her every day, which is what we had been doing up into that point. Bob's your uncle, Fanny's your aunt, and… you have a marriage.” Of course, it wasn’t as easy or quick as all that. There was a fair amount of romance involved, including Skype calls that lasted two to three hours a night.
