Employees from the bank's global network, unable to meet physically for the 14th edition of this event, just walked or ran the distance they personally committed to, on an own-time, own-target basis, and logged their achievements on their preferred smart device.

Amrita started her venture with an all-women team. In an interview with News18, she says, “I wanted to hire women to provide more opportunities in this otherwise male-dominated industry. Creative Industry is a taxing one, but I wanted to show that women with various commitments like studies, family, etc. can still work here while juggling all their commitments on one side. That’s one of the reasons why I don’t need my team in an office. We run on an “own time, own target” basis but at the end of the work, we get our work done on time. Spread across two countries, three cities, everyone works remotely except for my photography assistants.”

Ms Jiang interviewed several food delivery riders and asked them questions such as on their daily earnings through the job, what kind of working shifts they had and their reasons for working as food delivery riders. One food delivery rider she interviewed claimed that working as food delivery with Grab is more flexible compared to other food delivery companies as they can set their “own time own target”. “You are your own boss,” said one of the riders. “The Grab gives you a job. Is (sic) whether you want to receive or don’t want to receive.” Being a food delivery rider with Grab, he added, comes with protection during the COVID-19 pandemic such as insurance, depending on their ranking level. Most of the food delivery riders, as seen from their answers in Ms Jiang’s interviews, earn around S$100 to S$200 a day.
