A drunk teacher at a £9,650-a-term boarding school visited a strip club with pupils on a school trip to Costa Rica.

Disgraced (nhục nhã, hổ thẹn) Richard Glenn, the then Head of Sixth form at Longridge Towers School, was force to fly back to Britain early after what was billed as an "educational" trip descended into scandal.

His antics (trò hề, trò cười) cost him his job at the top-performing boarding school, in Berwick. Now he been banned from teaching (cấm đứng lớp) in any classroom in the country, and potentially ending a previously unblemished (không vết nhơ, không hoen ố) teaching career.

In July 2019, he took nine pupils on the trip. However, a day after their arrival the computer science teacher was swigging beer and rum with the youths - some of whom were under-18 - before hitting the town.

Until 1.30am they stayed at the the strip club, Elite D’Pelufo - billed online as "the number one gentleman's club in Costa Rica".

He was so drunk, he couldn't remember what unfolded upon returning to his accommodation. However he did not dispute the trip's female leader, who claimed he'd "exposed his naked body" to her inside their shared hotel room.
