Prince Harry has got himself a new job as 'Chief Impact Officer’ at a mental health start-up in California, a position which is known as a ‘chimpo’ in business circles.

Congratulations to him – but it’s getting attention for the wrong reasons in Japan.

That’s because the word is slang for ‘penis’.

Japanese news site SoraNews24 reported that people were laughing at the job title, saying things like ‘I bet this news made junior high school boys happy’ and ‘It doesn’t matter what age you are, the word ‘chimpo’ always raises a smile’.

Another said: ‘Imagine if he came to Japan and introduced himself as a ‘chimpo’ to officials? I’d love to see their faces!’

The title isn’t just specific to him, as many companies will have a chimpo.
