"Breast is best" nghĩa là gì?

"Breast is best" = sữa mẹ là nhất -> lời khuyên của Tổ chức Y tế thế giới (WHO) và các tổ chức sức khỏe khác rằng trẻ sơ sinh nên được bú sữa mẹ trong 6 tháng đầu đời vì những lợi ích mà sữa mang lại cho cả mẹ và bé.

What’s puzzling (gây bối rối) is that research suggests that new mothers understand that “breast is best”, but this does not seem to translate into practice. So why are mothers not breast-feeding? Perhaps it’s because we’ve placed the burden (gánh nặng) of responsibility on them alone, when we should be asking, why is it so hard to exclusively breast-feed in South Africa?
LIKE a broken record, we hear health-care professionals teach new and expecting (có bầu) mothers when nutrition is being discussed that “Breast is best”, which is commonly echoed by respected health bodies including the World Health Organization.
Auspicious (có triển vọng) health bodies around the globe insist on promoting the concept of “breast is best” to a level where it has become akin to religious dogma and questioning it equivalent to heresy.
