"Drop in tracks" nghĩa là gì?

"Drop in one's tracks" -> nghĩa là chết đột ngột, bất đắc kỳ tử; nghĩa khác là gục ngã vì quá mệt.

My Deer always drop in their tracks using my 308 with a high shoulder shot. But I am sure any of my other guns would do the same with that shot placement (cách sắp đặt).
