"The worst of both worlds" -> nghĩa là 'tệ cả đôi đường'.
Ví dụ
In the net, Afghanistan neither has a government nor American representation (đại diện), which is perhaps the worst of both worlds. In deeply humiliating scenes for the Biden administration, less than a month before the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on America, smoke spiralled (hình xoắn ốc) from the embassy compound as staff hastily destroyed documents, before a final group took down the stars-and-stripes flag and headed to the airport by military helicopter.
“I think that would be a bad place to be,” Brown added, “because it will probably end up being the worst of both worlds, rather than a choice on one side or the other.”
To me, American’s new setup seems like the worst of both worlds. From a passenger experience standpoint (quan điểm), it at least simplifies (đơn giản hóa) things if all of a carrier’s (hãng chuyên chở) operations are out of a single terminal. It creates confusion when some flights operate out of one terminal, and some flights operate out of a different terminal, especially at a non-hub airport.
Instead, “Stillwater” is starchy (cứng nhắc) in that way the worst social issue movies tend to be, plodding along without providing the satisfactions of genre nor the depths of a character study. It’s the worst of both worlds.
