The audi alteram partem rule, which stands for ‘hear the other side’, is a fundamental (nguyên tắc cơ bản) legal principle. This is enshrined (cất giữ) in the constitution of South Africa, which provides that all administrative action must be lawful, reasonable and procedurally fair.
