"Publish or perish" nghĩa là gì?

"Publish or perish" = xuất bản hoặc chết -> câu đưa ra ý kiến rằng các giảng viên đại học nên xuất bản sách về công trình nghiên cứu của họ, nếu không làm vậy thì sự nghiệp sẽ bị ảnh hưởng. Ý kiến này từng bị phản đối vì giảng viên được cho là tập trung vào viết lách nhiều hơn giảng dạy.
