A woman is demanding answers from a KFC store after she discovered deep-fried toilet paper in her order of chicken.

Disturbing (làm mất yên tĩnh, náo động) video shows the woman holding the oil-soaked toilet paper, covered in the fast food giant's famous batter (bột nhão làm bánh).

The alarming ordeal happened on Monday at a store in Anji, in northeast China, roughly 200km from Shanghai.

The incident (vụ việc) has quickly gone viral on Chinese social media site Weibo, with users disturbed over how the toilet paper ended up in her order.

"This is simply outrageous (kỳ quặc; quá chừng, thái quá)!" one person wrote online.

"Was the toilet paper used?!" another asked, while a separate user branded the discovery "disgusting".
