A French hospital had to pay a man nearly $65,000 after a series of alleged errors (sai lầm) resulted in the unnecessary “total removal of his penis (dương vật),” which left him with “no feeling” in his nether regions. His penile reparations (bồi thường thiệt hại, đền bù thiệt hại) were decided recently by the Administrative Court of Nantes.
“I have hatred towards this doctor who did not listen to me,” the unidentified (không xác định danh tính) alleged victim (nạn nhân) told local rag (báo hằng ngày, báo lá cải/giẻ rách) Frenchblue of the purported sexcessive procedure, which occurred in 2014 at the Nantes University Hospital. “He played Russian roulette with me!”
The father of three, then aged 30, had been diagnosed with carcinoma (ung thư biểu mô), “a cancer that forms in epithelial (biểu mô) tissue” that lines most of the person’s organs, per the Cleveland Clinic.
In an effort to remedy his condition, the urologist (bác sĩ khoa tiết niệu) at the hospital attempted to excise as much of the tumor (khối u) as possible while minimizing the damage to his manhood.
Unfortunately, through a series of “faulty breaches,” the cancer metastasized (gây di căn) throughout his entire member (của quý, cậu nhỏ), per the Administrative Court of Nantes. This caused the patient such “crazy” pain that he said at one point he even contemplated amputating (cắt cụt) his member himself.
