Ngủ ngoan Ikea ơi

giờ đây có thể nghe người thụy điển đọc tên sản phẩm ikea để dễ ngủ... :)

"For the next 30 minutes, you'll hear many names of Ikea furniture (đồ gỗ) as we work through the Ikea catalogue, starting in the bedroom and ending in the bathroom."

Does that sound like an exciting (hào hứng, phấn chấn) to you? Well, it's not supposed to. It's supposed to put you to sleep (ngủ).

It's a new "podcast" from the Swedish furniture giant (gã khổng lồ), which it says will help New Zealanders cope with the daylight saving changes on Sunday - while also maybe planting some form of subliminal (tiềm thức) advertising (quảng cáo) in your brain (não).

The podcast is hosted by two longtime Ikea employees, Sara and Kent Eriksson (you can pick which one you prefer), who have been with the company a combined 41 years.

The Erikssons were chosen to voice the podcast because of the "indisputable knowledge of Ikea product names," said an Ikea spokesperson.

They explained, the pair "often get asked by our co-workers the correct pronunciation of Ikea products," so you're not likely to hear a Kiwi voice on the podcast anytime soon.
