Trường dạy lái xe bị đình chỉ, hàng trăm bằng lái xe Michigan có thể mất hiệu lực

Driver’s licenses (bằng lái xe) of hundreds of new motorists may be invalid after Michigan officials found more than 6,600 violations (vi phạm) at a Wayne County driving school (trường dạy lái xe) and suspended authorization (đình chỉ cấp phép) for it to operate.
The state did not say exactly how many driver’s licenses the suspension affects but provided some information in a statement about how students who attended the school could check on the status (tình trạng) of their license — and how to get a refund (hoàn tiền).

The Michigan Department of State said it is taking steps to revoke (thu hồi) its approval for Epic Driving Education, at 5 Berwick Lane in Dearborn, after an investigation (điều tra) that uncovered 6,643 violations.

The infractions (vi phạm) included failures to ensure students passed their tests, misrepresenting (miêu tả/trình bày sai) the quality of instruction and multiple recordkeeping (lưu trữ hồ sơ) problems. It was unclear, however, whether the state would seek to impose penalties (hình phạt) or take additional actions.

The state said students who were enrolled (đăng ký học) at the school "are encouraged to contact MDOS at Michigan.gov/DriverEdComplaint to determine if their certificates of completion or driver’s licenses are still valid due to these violations by the provider."

The Department of State said it cannot issue certificates of completion to students who have participated in the courses.
