1) harrer lên tàu cho hành trình leo núi, ngoái qua cửa sổ nhìn lại người vợ với cái bụng to sắp đẻ với nhiều yêu thương và tâm tư nhưng bị "cái tôi" dằn xuống không thể hiện nổi tình yêu với vợ mình, cuối cùng đã để mất cô;
2) harrer nhiều lần chạy trốn khỏi nhà tù rồi điên cuồng đâm mình vào hàng gai sắt nhọn sau khi nhận được thư ly hôn của vợ - giọt nước tràn ly cho cái tôi cao ngạo rơi vào ngõ cụt bế tắc;
3) harrer chạy theo người bạn đồng hành để xin lỗi anh về chuyện cái đồng hồ - thể hiện việc harrer đã hạ được phần lớn cái tôi ích kỷ của mình;
4) điệu bộ có phần khinh khỉnh của harrer khi được cô vợ người tạng của anh bạn hỏi han "những năm qua chắc hẳn anh cô đơn và thiếu tình yêu thương lắm!" vì chính anh đã để mắt đến cô khi mới đặt chân đến nơi này nhưng thực tế trái tim của cô không rung động với anh;
5) harrer quay lại áo với công cuộc chinh phục trái tim cậu con trai chưa từng gặp mặt, khởi đầu bằng máy chạy nhạc dây cót - đồ vật yêu thích nhất của người bạn lạt ma đã tặng anh - hé mở cửa và nhìn thấy con qua khe cửa là khoảnh khắc "người có ảnh hưởng nhất trong cuộc đời anh" đã đốn gục hoàn toàn cái tôi cao ngạo của harrer;
6) đôi mắt ngời sáng vô cùng ham học hỏi của lạt ma tenzin và nụ cười rạng rỡ của ông mỗi khi gặp harrer, được anh truyền thụ cho các kiến thức của thế giới "ngoài kia";
7) cảnh chiến tranh đau thương khi lính tạng với kỹ năng chiến tranh gần như không có, giương những cây súng thô sơ bắn lên kẻ địch trên cao đang nã xuống những quả pháo sát thương lớn - tang thương và bất lực;
8) phong cảnh tây tạng: những ngọn núi tuyết hùng vĩ, tráng lệ; mặt đất khô khốc chỉ một màu ảm đạm; màu đỏ rực rỡ, màu đen huyền bí, màu trắng tinh của những góc cảnh tu viện, cung điện potala, chùa đại chiêu... tạo một nỗi nhớ da diết những ngày giờ tôi đã đặt chân qua mảnh đất này.
phim được sản xuất năm 1995, là một trong ít những bộ phim về đất tạng được công chiếu, để lại nhiều day dứt trong lòng người xem.

Impressions:
1) The scene where Heinrich Harrer boards the train, glancing back at his wife through the window – her belly swollen with pregnancy, about to give birth. His heart is filled with love and sorrow, but his ego keeps him from expressing it, leaving him unable to show her the affection she deserves. In the end, he loses her, a painful consequence of his own pride.
2) The anguish of Harrer as he repeatedly escapes from prison, only to throw himself into a barbed-wire fence in a frenzied outburst after receiving the letter of divorce from his wife. It is the final straw that shatters his lofty ego, leaving him lost in a dead-end of despair.
3) Harrer’s sincere effort to chase after his companion and apologize for a seemingly trivial incident involving a watch – this marks a pivotal moment where Harrer begins to let go of his selfish ego and embrace humility.
4) The quiet yet cutting irony in Harrer's expression when his friend’s Tibetan wife asks him, “You must have been lonely and starved for love all these years!” He had once shown interest in her when he first arrived, but her heart had never responded to his advances.
5) The moment Harrer returns to his son, whom he has never met before, beginning with a simple yet deeply meaningful gesture: the wind-up music box – the gift from the Lama he cherished. As he gazes through the door and finally sees his son, he is overwhelmed. It is in that instant, when he finally meets the "most influential person in his life," that his arrogant ego crumbles entirely.
6) The luminous, inquisitive eyes of Lama Tenzin, brimming with a thirst for knowledge, and his beaming smile whenever he meets Harrer and discovers the world beyond what he knew.
7) The tragic war scene where Tibetan soldiers, armed only with rudimentary weapons and little military skill, struggle to defend themselves against an enemy raining down heavy artillery. It’s a moment of heartbreaking futility and helplessness.
8) The breathtaking landscapes of Tibet: majestic, snow-capped peaks standing proud, the barren, desolate earth painted in melancholy tones; the vibrant reds, the deep mystery of black, and the pure white of the monastery corners, the towering Potala Palace, and the Great Prayer Wheel... All of it tugs at my heart, evoking a deep, almost aching nostalgia for the days I spent walking on this sacred land.
Produced in 1995, Seven Years in Tibet remains one of the rare films to capture the essence of Tibet on screen, leaving an indelible mark on all who experience it.
