"Swim against the tide" nghĩa là gì?

Swim against the tide có từ tide nghĩa là thủy triều hay dòng nước. Thành ngữ này nghĩa là bơi ngược dòng, tức là đi ngược lại ý kiến hay xu hướng của thời đại.

Club member Wang Chaoyong, the chairman of private equity giant China Equity Group, said it simply made good business sense for private enterprises to go along with government policy rather than swim against the tide.
