Global Blood Plasma Derivatives Market Is Projected to Reach 52000 Million US$ by 2025

Blood plasma is the liquid component of blood constituting of water along with plasma components such as immunoglobulin (globulin miễn dịch), electrolytes (chất điện phân), glucose, clotting factors, electrolytes, and hormones. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the electrolyte and osmotic (thấm lọc) balance while preventing infection (nhiễm trùng; tiêm nhiễm, đầu độc) and blood disorders in the body.

The growth of the global blood plasma derivatives market is majorly driven by increase in prevalence of life-threatening disorders, especially hemophilia (bệnh ưa chảy máu, chứng huyết hữu). Other factors boosting the market growth include rise in adoption of blood plasma derivatives products, upsurge (đột ngột tăng lên/bùng lên, bột phát) in geriatric (lão khoa) population across the world, and increase in awareness about blood & plasma donation.

A nano-tech diagnostic tool that can indicate cancer or thrombotic risk from one drop of blood has been developed by international researchers led by Prof Martin Hegner from the School of Physics at Trinity College Dublin. They exploited micro-resonators for real-time measurements of the evolving strength of the blood plasma clot. They reported “a novel strategy for quick, reliable and quantitative diagnostics of expression patterns of non-coding short (ribonucleic acid) RNA in blood plasma or cell cultures”.
