'Have rocks in one's head' để chỉ một việc gì đó/ai đó rất ngớ ngẩn, ngu ngốc hay điên khùng; có giống với "có sỏi trong đầu" theo nghĩa dùng ở việt nam ko các bạn nhỉ?

Ví dụ
A group of local volunteers (người tình nguyện địa phương) has been working to open the quarry (mỏ đá) up to the public. Some may say they have rocks in their head, but proponent (người đề xuất), Debra Cadogan-Cowper said the quarry was a significant site (điểm quan trọng).

Simmons said the farm could put Taupo's reputation (danh tiếng) at risk. "I'm just appalled (lo sợ) when you consider the beauty and the pristine (nguyên sơ) nature and the economic benefits (lợi ích kinh tế) to Taupo from being clean and green and the trout fishery (câu cá hồi)." He said it's mindboggling (không thể tin được/dị thường/ngạc nhiên) the Minister of Conservation (Bộ trưởng Bộ bảo tồn), who'll be deciding on the proposal (đề xuất) in the next few weeks, could let it get this far. "Maggie Barry's got to have rocks in her head to even let anything like this near Lake Taupo...The conservation minister should be protecting Lake Taupo, not encouraging (khuyến khích) this sort of endeavour (cố gắng) around the lake."

Frank Lane “Pete” Charton may have earned a Ph.D (Tiến sĩ) in geology (địa chất) from Michigan State University, but he doesn’t have rocks in his head.
