"At the drop of a hat" nghĩa là gì?

"At the drop of a hat" = (trong một thoáng) chiếc mũ rơi -> thời gian ngắn.

I want to be at school at the drop of the hat because it’s too late.

“I’ve never seen anybody work so hard, who had so much talent and play so violent and play with such tenacity (kiên cường),” he said. “This guy would fight you on the field at the drop of a hat, and I respect that about him, and outworks everybody. I would be the last person in the film room usually at the end of camp, and I would go in there and watch tape once everybody was at home. I started going in there an opening the door and turning the lights on to find my pen or notebook, and he was in there every night.”

“There was a scene that was cut from the film where Peter Parker went and sold all his toys to get the money in order to buy MJ a present,” Holland tells Uproxx. “And one of the toys, it was Kevin Feige, he said, ‘I need this toy to be in there.’ I forget what it’s called, but it’s a really niche (thích hợp) Star Wars character and then I end up not selling that toy.” It’s heartening (phấn khích) to know that even the boss man, Kevin Feige, doesn’t get to always pull in-jokes at the drop of a hat.
