"Do not let the sun go down on your anger" = đừng để mặt trời lặn khi bạn còn giận dữ -> hãy luôn thay đổi, cải thiện tình hình trước khi kết thúc một ngày, đừng đi ngủ khi bản thân còn tức giận.
Ví dụ
Jesus’ emphasis on forgiveness (sự tha thứ) shows his awareness that an unresolved quarrel (tranh cãi) ruins our ability to pray and that failure to reconcile (hòa giải) quickly can bury a conflict in our psyche (tâm lý). The author of Ephesians offers the same insight: “Do not let the sun go down on your anger” (4:26).
Many a time, the angry one is the right one. Unfortunately, if they don’t manage their anger properly, they become the wrong one. Little wonder the Bible (Kinh Thánh) warns that one should do all they can not to let the sun go down on their anger. When anger persists (kéo dài), its effects are terrible. Like a mighty wind, it destroys everything in its way.
When two individuals come together, we bring in our own personalities (tính cách) and perspectives (quan điểm). It creates more fun and joy when we have different perspectives. The various perspectives mould us into a better couple, and also help us understand God's wonderful creation and everyone's uniqueness. Arguments (tranh cãi) are inevitable (không thể tránh khỏi), but that's when we need to remember, "In your anger do not sin (phạm lỗi). Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry."
